Inspired by the Indian culture and heritage, the vivacity with which the people of India celebrate their festivals is a subject that fascinated me , the most . In this exhibit, I have tried to capture the grandeur of Indian Festivals and posture each individual celebrating his life be it in the colours of Holi, Basant Panchmi, Dashama Vrat of the women in Gujarat, Chitra Vichitra Mela, Budhha Purnima Mela, Ganesh Visarjan, Gokul Ashtami, Bohra Mass Marriages, Mass Marriages at Kutch or the fervour of Id . Through Utsav I have tried to show festivals in a different light inspiring people to walk in and redefine celebrating festivals in a stress driven world.
